  Radio legend Peter Fairhead has joined LCR FM. Peter has been heard on Bradford's Pennine Radio in 1980 with the lunchtime show, and later helped launch Viking Gold to East Yorkshire.    This expanded into the regional Classic Gold (later Great Yorkshire Gold).    Later in the 1990's he was invited to Manchester's 1458 Lite AM, and later presented concurrently at Fortune 1458, Warrington's Wire FM, and then from Stoke-On-Trent's Big AM to Manchester and Bradford.    For most of this time he was presenting Country Music shows on AM and FM, and in the noughties he was invited to join Hull's new KCFM for weekend and relief shows, as well as a regular Country Show. You can hear Peter presenting early weekend breakfast 0600 to 0800 both Saturday and Sunday with 50’s 60’s and 70’s  shows. You can also hear Peter from midnight Friday to 0200 Saturday morning with his very popular Country Show.  Welcome Peter to the LCR FM Family.
